The Grand Classic TV Show

The lives and loves of the employees of a palatial hotel are as turbulent as the Great War that surrounds them. The Grand, Manchester's finest hotel, hides torrid secrets behind polished brass door knobs and with room service often coming with extras.

The Grand Fan Tributes

9 Sharose from Royal Berkshire: I adore the final scene, when the closed grand reopens, I don't want to spoil the plot for those that haven't seen the show (currently being reshown ITV3) but whoop whoop!
8 tracey from london: could someone please tell me the title music from the grand please xx
7 june miller from nuneaton, warwickshire: I have just 'found' the wonderful series 'The Grand' on ITV3. Somehow I never saw the first viewing of this great serial, but have really enjoyed it!! I agree that the changes in the 2nd series were a little off - putting but other than that please bring up the follow - up series!!! And if there is to be no follow - up series, what are our writers thinking about?!!!
6 Katherine from Hampshire: I adore the Grand and in particular Marcus Bannerman (Mark McGann) who incidentally is the sexiest thing ever to grace the tv screen and i'm truly, madly, deeply in love with him and if anyone can supply me with any details about him, pics etc I would be very grateful. My favourite Grand moment is just about anything where Mark is on screen but if I had to choose it has to be when Marcus and Sarah kiss for the first time arghhhh!
5 Claire Way from Leeds, UK: Hi! I adored this show the first time round, and wondered if anyone knows about a VHS release in the UK? They rarely repeat things that are actually good, and this is the case with this fantastic series. Incidentally my favourite bit has to be Stephen asking Kate to dance at the wedding reception!
4 Nicholas Perry from Evanston, Illinois: I love The Grand, but was surprised and a little saddened by the sudden changes brought on by Series Two, especially in the casting. My favorite moment was definetly in the first series when Kate can't comprehend why Jacob Collins' son could have deserted, and Stephen Bannerman explains to her just why he might have done what he did.
3 Jasmine from Dorset: In reply to Lindsay yes It is the same Paul Warriner and now he can be seen in Corrie as the dastrdly but v sexy lecturer jon.
2 Lindsay from East Sussex: Paul Warriner recently featured in an episode of ITV's FatFriends, is this the same Paul Warriner who played Clive Evans in the Grand and if so what else has he been in ?
1 Linda and Mum from Newcastle Upon Tyne: We love period costume dramas and we are very proud of our North East Actors/Actresses ie Tim Healey - have to support anything he's in! Susan Hampshire is brilliant.
