6 Suzanne Hogg from Pegswood: The Morecambe and Wise show was very funny
5 Amy Phillips from Lancashire: I am so lucky that DVD's are able to bring me Morecambe and Wise, I am a big fan and they never fail to make me laugh & smile. Now my favourite sketch from The Morecambe and Wise Show would have to be the Singing in the rain sketch and the Monty on the bounty.
They will always make me smile. They are comedy legends, We will never have comic heroes like them again, So I am very glad I have a passion for old comedy.
4 richard steven clarke from birmingham: The finest comediens who ever lived. Their best work was written by eddie braben for the bbc. However they had the professionalism to deliver their itv material with class too.
3 Mark from New Orleans USA: Just the greatest comedy pair of all time. I am an expat Brit in the USA and I am trying to purchase any video/dvds of them. I saw a black and white clip of them on YouTube with the Beatles, just wonderful!
2 Phil from London: Why only two tributes?
My favourite moments - include Preparing breakfast to "The Stripper".
Eric coming off the front of the cart very time he shouted to the horse to giddyup.
The huge ventriloquists doll and "the right notes" sketch with Andre Previn.
The bedroom sketches.
These are to name just a few.
Superbly written, timeless comedy and a fine pair of comedians to carry it off, what more could you ask?
1 Clare from Glasgow: Shirley Bassey wearing tackety boots....who else could have EVER pulled that off!!!
