The Cinder Path Fan Tributes

1 nev latimer from originaly from Blaydon now living in Lemington: I was lucky enough to be an extra in The Cinder Path and had great time wiyh the cast Lloyd Owen, Rupert Wickham, Ralph Ineson and David Hounslow. They made us all feel very comfortable & relaxed while we were there.

The part I always have a chuckle at though is as the soldiers are leaving the station & waving goodbye to the ones they are leaving behind, Why?.

Because we were all the way through to the end of the scene when as I was waving from the back of the train I accidently clouted Maria Miles on the top of her head and dented her hat,so we had to do the whole lot again.I did say sorry to her but she just laughed it off and said so it was you, don,t worry Its fine.

All in all the story of the Cinder Path is a captivating one,a young lad having to take on the responsibility of a working farm, being criticised by others for not doing {his bit}. Forced into a marriage that was doomed from the start & coming back from the worst war in history a much stronger and determined man eventually finding love on his very doorstep.
