The Brittas Empire Fan Tributes

27 Niall from Castleford, west yorkshire: Remember watching it vaguely with my brother when i was little, then when it ended i hadnt seen it repeated for years after, then when i saw it on gold a few summers ago, it grew on me and i got hooked again, great sitcom! would like to return but i guess it seems unlikely. would love to visit the ringwood leisure where some of it was filmed too!

26 jojo from : My favorites are Mr. Brittas changes Trains and The Christening. The funniest sitcom to date! Great cast! Not many sitcoms make you laugh out loud and this one does it every episode and multiple times an episode.

25 Peter eaton from South Normanton: Mr. Brittas, bless him is being shown again on UK Gold & what a show !
Very good comedy.
Great scripts.
Must enrole at his centre.
Thank you BBC !

24 topsyjane from stockbridge: Brittas DVDs would be the best Xmas present ever - and they're on Amazon... hint hint...

23 kevin stow from ?: i have modelled my life on you mr brittas

22 steve from uk: tim is so sexy.

carol is funny and julie is so funny "im busy!"

series 4, mr brittas changes trains is funny as hell. it's a shame it never continued, even the new writers made the show even funnier, especially the lion within! carol, so scary

21 Loralei from Montreal, Canada: i always thought that Gordon Brittas had sexy legs. The first time I saw the show I was 16 and saw him wearing shorts. I never stopped watching until they ceased to play on PBS. Im all grown up now and still think that Brittas is pretty tasty. Ohh and he looked like he smelled good too. yumm.

20 : I absolutely love the Brittas Empire, Why, O Why is it not on TV more?? *cries*

19 Chris from Surbiton: I certainly reaffirm that the current time-slot is not conducive to full appreciation of the show. With luck, someone will read this and put it on at a more reasonable time. Much of the basis of the material is still highly apt.

18 ANDY from PETERBOROUGH: THE BEST THING YOU ARE SHOWING AT PRESENT. MAY I SUGGEST ANY OTHER TIME SLOT THAN CURRENTLY, BUT PLEASE KEEP THE ADVERTS TO A MINIMUM, DON'T CUT OUT THE BEST PARTS. BEST EPISODE STILL GOT TO BE "SAFETY FIRST",THE SMUG LOOK ON MR B'S FACE WHEN BEING INTERVIEWED BY THE NEWS CREW IS PURE COMIC GENIUS.

17 paul greenwood from nottingham: My favorite is the christening where Helen " loses " the twins and she nearly drowns phillipa, carole splashes the cake with her sons pee.

its the first episode i ever saw and it still makes me laugh.

16 edwina haigh from wakefield: Please start putting brittas back on at 7:45 i love it

15 sam matrtin from london: please start butting brittas back on in the mornings

14 Sam Lister from Ossett: My favourite Brittas empire moment is when A cow is giving birth at the front of the leisure centre. It has left some muneer on the floor and brittas says:

What if a small child mistook it for a pudding and eat it!!

13 Maria from Peterborough: Mr brittas is the best show on tv a great thing to get you going in the morning, and a little suggestion could you please start repeating it at night

12 steve travers from west bay dorset: All I can say is "What a great start to the day" i could watch Brittas till it comes out of my ears.. A true classic....keeps me laughing till at least lunchtime

11 Matthew Martin from Lewes: I was a great fan of the Brittas Empire, but my favourite ever Brittas episode was 'Get Fit With Brittas' featuring an APPALLING cameo from none other than Mr Tony Blair.

10 Phil from Sydney: Brilliant plotting, superb writing, a terrific ensemble cast and the most annoying lead character ever, who, thanks to Chris Barrie, somehow seemed admirable in an odd way at the same time.

9 Liz Wilson from Hove: The Brittas Empire is superb. Mr B is fantasticly hilarious and I was hooked throughout. My favourite moment was when Mr B played piano at the concert - hilarious!

8 Richard from Southampton: The Brittas Empire - just one of those geniusly stupid comedy programmes. Absolutely superb. I once played cricket at the Ringwood Recreation Centre (without knowing the BE was filmed there), and it took me ages to figure out where I had seen these surroundings before! Colin - living legend!

7 Richard Rivera from Hobken, New Jersey USA: You english are VERY lucky. Most of of the american shows on USA television are poorly written and not very funny. But the Britass Empire was hilarious and kept me interested non stop. The cast was first rate and Pippa Haywood is not only hot, but I'd love to have a neurotic wife like her! She'd make life a lot more interesting.

6 stepehn williams from swindon: fab sitcom - i watched every episode. One that really made me laugh was when it was Helens birthday and she wanted a 'set of wheels' he bought her a moped and a bright yellow outfit and helmet to wear whilst on it. Just to add insult to injury he had 'hi Im helen' printed on the helmet.

5 Dawn from London: I remember my whole family watching the first episode of the Brittas Empire when it was first shown. We thought it was dreadful... but somehow finished up watching it (and, eventually, enjoying it) week after week after week. It must have hypnotic qualities!

4 Linda from Newcastle: Excellent programme. Never knew what Mr B would come out with next, completely ludicrous at times, but what a laugh it caused. Liked Colin (as he was a Geordie).

3 Ben Cooper from England: Because i look and act like Colin.

2 Angela Robinson from Lincoln: I remember watching this series the 'first time round' and it still makes me laugh!

1 Shaun Doherty from Newmarket: It's just the funniest sit com ever.... Brittas is a star !!!
