The A Team Fan Tributes

10 Pat Donnelly from Falls Church, VA: Thank you George for giving us the best work of your life. You owned Hannibal Smith and spoiled us for anyone else. I love your panache and your brains. Thank you.

9 Richard from New Zealand: It was a classic show, no doubt about that. My all time favourite show for many years.

A pity about Season 5 though. BA talked less and never argued with and threatened Murdock anymore and Murdock became sane. It's a pity it had to go that way.

8 fabian from Colombia: The Best Ever since The A-Team... Wait a minute I'm talking about The A-Team... So what can I say... it is just the very best of all the time!

7 Wayne kloed from Hartlepool GB: A brilliant series would watch it every saturday tea time without fail. Favourite episode would have to be the cowboy one where the a team saved mustangs from being slaughtered. Anybody else think that amy was hot

6 David Stanley from Farmington, New Mexico, USA: The A-Team reflected the attitude of America in the 1980s. Ronald Reagan was president, we were flexing our military muscles again after the impotent and disasterous 70s, oil prices were down after two bad oil shortages (with resultant price hikes) of the 70s, and we were feeling a new sense of optimism as a nation.

We also began to see the Vietnam era veteran as a victim that had been mistreated a decade earlier, rather than as a drug addict, freak, and baby killer. Hence shows like the A-Team and the Sylvester Stallone "Rambo" movies reflected those feelings.

The A-Team was full of humor, much of it intentional, some unintentional. Mr. T was probably the most visually funny, although Capt Howlin Mad Murdock was the most witty and crazy (Mr. T made his public debut in 1982 in Rocky III).

My favorite episode was the one where the A-Team is driving taxi cabs and crashing multiple cars. Probably 50 or more cars were destroyed in that one episode. Entertaining action comedy!

5 Khadija Suleman from England: i never missed 1 episode of the A-team, bcoz it was so addictive. i loved it when mad murdock used to wind B.A up. that was funny!!!!!!

4 leisa b 38 from Maine: Hannibal I ain't working with no fool. Murdoch get away from me fool. ain't the A-Team the best

3 Allen Forster from Cornwall GB: I aint flyin' nowhere with that sucker. Hannibal, get that fool out of here. Brilliant. Loved Mr T and Howling Wolf Murdoch. Be holed up in a domestic garage with a clapped out car and within two minutes put armour plate on it and guns and come through the doors and blast away the baddies!

2 NISHAN SINGH from DURBAN, SOUTH AFRICA: Every episode of the series was hot. The 80's would be nothing without the A team.

1 Spiv from Letchworth: This was my childhood - the music, the style, the eccentric macho no-nonsense action bravado - the A Team rocks!
