28 Paul Roffey from Ipswich , Suffolk: Like many others, Magnum Pi has a strange connection to our past. I so enjoyed watching the series, i've got so many great memories watching Magnum Pi in those care free days of early teenage-hood. It's wonderful the show is now on DVD. Long live Magnum and Tom Selleck.
27 Elaine Kearns from England: This is by far the best show of the 80's. It encompassed all the elements to make a hit show, and kept you coming back every week. Magnum was relatable and we found ourselves rooting for him, always. His rapour with the other characters was unique and chemistry like that is impossible to manufacture. I am delighted the show is finally coming to dvd. I will get the hot dogs ready and delve back into my past. Long live Magnum!
26 Elaine Kearns from England: Every episode was fantastic. But if I had to pick a favourite; Basket Case....or maybe Rembrandts Girs....or Home from Sea...or......
25 kevin from sunderland: Magnum PI best show ever, best episodes are limbo and don't eat snow in hawaii.
24 maureen ley from U.K.: Loved the first episode right
through to the last and always look forward to the repeats. I cannot quite piece together what happens following the bomb at Magnum's wedding. Is Michelle presumed dead then turns up later in the series and where and when does this happen? Very blank on this issue perhaps someone can fill in the blanks? Hope the series will return soon.
23 Alex from Limerick, Ireland: Aloha. In my opinion this is the greatest TV show ever made. Among many great episodes I have to say that there is one (two parts) that has something extra, "Did You See the Sunrise?". Wow. Even if I love the humour in the show, this is a fantastic episode! Higgins must be one of the most fantastic characters of all time.
22 james west from barnsley: Could someone please tell me which colours T.J's helicopter was. I think brown, orange & yellow, but all my friends think black, red & yellow? The correct answer is very much needed!!!
21 Jules from Milton Keynes: This is TRULY the best series there has ever been. Period!
20 dave from florida: My favorite episode is death and taxes. rub a dub dub!
19 Jordan from nottingham: i dont watch magnum that often but from wot i have heard from "dan" its truly fantastic work
18 dan from nottingham i think: my favourite episode was when magnum and higgins were fighting like children and both getting each other back. it was no doubt the funniest episode of the whole eight seasons. the best part was where magnum had set up a bomb to destroy higgins replica bridge. then as it was happening he called higgins on the hi-tech telephone and hummed 'the bridge over the river kwai' tune. i laughed a lot and out loud. thanks for making sucha wicked website. i loved it and it proved a great read.
17 from: thanks for the reply, but only showing on Sundays now!
When will it be showing weekdays again?. Also when and if will the full series be shown from start to finish
But lets please get back to the daily fix of magnum........please.
16 Maureen Kitchen from Darwen Lancashire: I am really enjoying watching the re runs of magnum pi i think it is great but the most funniest things is the way is so terrified of higgins twoo dogs mind you if they come runnig towards me i think i would do the same.
15 James Hamilton from Preston, Lancashire: It's great to see some classic tv with action, adventure and a hint of comedy thrown in. In my opinion i think they should do a reunion special and some tv specials with the original cast to show what happened to them all after the series ended.
14 david king from wallington, surrey: all the magnum,s have great viewing, i cant wait til you show it again
13 Gavin Murray from Essex: What a great programme. Did you know that Limbo was to be the last episode but they made another series. Just think we wouldn't have had such fantastic episodes such as The Pleasure Principle, Unfinished Business (My Favourite) & the finale Resolutions. What a great ending.
12 anne from shropshire: It is impossible to choose one favourite magnum, they are all so good but the one they shot in London was very good especially when Thomas said he could drive an english car and then jumped into the passenger side (obviously thinking that was the drivers side!) I think Tom Selleck is just to die for! he is so gorgeous.
11 aron from Hoddesdon: Tom Selleck is my hero, I've been trying to grow my chest hair to match his for the last 20 years, shame there's no Hula babes in Hoddesdon!!!!
10 Karen Oke from Barnstaple, Devon: I have just been getting re-acquainted with Magnum PI on satellite. It is such a great series and great characters. It would also be great to have a reunion and the original cast to make a farewell film together. Why don't the american studios do something?
9 Jason: I am biggest magnum Fan! I am just looking for other people that share my passion for the best TV show ever made! please contact me at PandaBabi@aol.com
Love,
Jason "magnam" Baynham
8 Rosanne from London: one of my best memories is when Higgins has a car accident & is in a wheelchair. Magnum wheels him outside in the hospital garden, & while he's brainstorming forgets to apply the brakes. they are both at the top of a slope & Higgins goes flying down the slope in the wheelchair, shouting "Oh my God!!"
that always brings a smile & a laugh.
7 e dudley from aylesbury uk: fav moment has to be when magnum rigs an explosive charge to higgins model of the bridge over the river kwai, rings him up and starts whistling the theme tune to the film as he blows up the model. A very funny episode in which both magnum and higgins destroy each others most treasured possessions in a battle of hotheadedness.
6 Dan from Sheffiele: I just love the dress sense of Magnum PI, the haiwai shirts, the ridulously tight shorts, comedy moustache and humourous cap's. Thomas Sullivan Magnum has it all!
5 nicola from oxon: I loved Magnum PI. He was the first guy I fell in love with even now 20 years later he is still great. My 5 year old daughter calls him the delicious man. The progamme though a little dated is still so good.
4 Andrew Beet from UK: I love the episode Black On White when Higgins is quarantined with Magnum and has to live with Magnum because Higgins is the target of some Mau-Mau warriors. It had me in stitches.
3 kev hughes from bristol: My wife and I love magnum, I remember it first time round and like good wine this just gets better with age or is it just me. Magnumificent viewing
2 Jools from Glasgow: Magnum PI is the best action programme of the 80's. He is what most ment would love to live like, the bachelor pad, ferrari, luxury surroundings and a different girl on his arm each night..... Not to mention the fact he lives in Hawaii. I remember watching it as a kid and the feeling is the same, even now, when I watch an episode of Magnum.
1 C. Watts from Middlesex: A great show from my teen years back in the eighties. Magnum & friends have lost none on their appeal and still remain essential viewing.
