9 Jamie from Cliburn, Cumbria: The script is so funny it is as good today as it was back in 1983-86.
Jan Francis is every man's wet dream. Spotted her last week on the telly in the five day drama "Collision on ITV. It has been a long time since I have seen her on the telly in anything. She may have aged, at least she did not get all that plastic surgery that sad stars tend to do.
I am glad to see that she is growing old gracefully.
Always loved you Jan. C'est la vie
8 WandA from London: Love this to bits and had a very heavy crush on Jan Francis(pen), me and my partner(just introduced her to it), loves it to bits and if ever she reads this, we both represent the characters, and i love you as much as they love each other, whatever may happen, we will always end up together, always love you Pen, yours Vince (gongoloo).
For everyone else, this is the best and watching this brings back the fond memories of yesteryear and away from the cruel world we live in.
7 marc tait from dundee scotland: A truly fantastic comedy in the bitter sweet british way this type of sitcom will never come round again its so unique it is strictly a one off, my fav episode was when vince met graham in the restaurant and challenged him and graham backed down and the comment ! u know wot a vegan is dont u vince? and he replied of course i do ive never missed an episode of star trek! simple but genuis comedy. marc.
6 sheri from Birmingham: This was a great show and I was excited when they bought out the DVD box set of the first 2 series I just really hope that they can bring out series 3 and the special they did I would love to get my hands on the whole set.
5 from: i agree. His smile was so nice. and he was so cute. I loved how he had a go at her mother. Paul Nicholas was a brilliant actor.
4 jacqui c-w from bournemouth: You wanted to dis-like Vince but no matter how hard you tried you couldnt. The smile and his clever way with words won you over as indeed they did Penny. I just adored Vinces mum Rita and her attitude to life.
3 Sue from Liverpool: There was amazing chemistry between these two characters. I was a teenager at the time and it was very exciting to watch how the couple interacted. It was part soap, part comedy, part drama. I think it was hugely underrated.
2 Emma Brooks from: even though i was only born when this class prog finished i think it is brill
1 Emma Brooks from Middlesbrough: i really love this prog especially when Vince gets drunk.
