It Takes a Thief


Alexander Mundy - smooth, suave, sophisticated - is the world's greatest cat burglar. Finally arrested after years of pilfering, he strikes a deal with American agent Noah Bain: a full pardon if Mundy agrees to use his skills to steal for the SIA, an American espionage agency. Technically under house arrest, Mundy travels all over the world performing daring acts of thievery in the name of Uncle Sam.

1 Joe Posner from San Jacinto, CA: As a teenager, I wanted to be Robert Wagner/Alexander Mundy.

He had a cool "job," a hip haircut, , and he got all the girls.

My favorite "It Takes a Thief" moment took place in an episode whose name escapes me.

Our hero is in some quasi-mythical Europran country, interacting with a beautiful young woman in a shop.

She's complaining that all the local men are boring, ugly, and have crooked teeth.

Wagner/Mundy flashes his fabulous smile. "MY teeth aren't
crooked," he exclaims.

A spontaneous makeout session takes place!
