15 Dave from UK: A truly great series.
It makes me sad they say it is too expensive to produce any more episodes, especially when I see some of the rubbish they put on the telly nowadays and the money they waste on some overhyped sporting events.
14 JessA from UK: hornblower is the most amazing program to have ever been broadcasted! i started watching it two years ago and fell in love.....with Archie! he did NOT deserve to die! my favourite moment is when they find Kennedy again....Classic!!!!
13 Hornblower Man from Inverness: Hey I love Hornblower, it is one of those programmes I grew up watching. Only second best to Sharpe! You can also get Hornblower books if you have seen all the programmes but it isnt as good.
12 Annabel from UK: love it but they kill off the best charicter, Lt Archie Kennedy
11 Ginny from New Zealand: Absolutely wonderful series. Disappointed that there won't be more.
10 Tammy P from Ohio USA: I just found this wonderful series in 2006; and would love more episodes; excellent casting!
9 Edward McKenna from Aberdeen: I don't have a favourite moment. The whole series is brilliant.
8 John Rivers from Wittersham, Kent: A superb series. I just wish that the cast (or should I say 'crew'?) would set sail again and give us some more episodes. This is an example of the peak of British drama!
7 morgan from Wigan: Frogs and Lobsters and Duty are by far the best in this series. My family and I love these, I think the actors are superb - why why is there no more episodes??????
6 Daniela from Argentina: My Favorite moment is in "Retribution" when Horatio is touched by Archie's loyalty and friendship, and he says he's glad of having him as a friend... I've cried so much...lol...
5 Daniela from Argentina: My Favorite moment is in "Retribution" when Horatio is touched by Archie's loyalty and friendship, and he says he's glad of having him as a friend... I've cried so much...lol...
4 Alexander from London: I think that Hornblower is the greatest show on earth, nothing beats it.
I think that both Ioan Grufford and Jamie Bamber are very good as the the leads and both play their parts very well. If anyone disagrees, I suggest they watch it again.
3 Angie Anderson from Crickhowell, UK: Excellent drama. I watched it repeatedly and await new episodes.
2 Noa from Israel: My favorite moment is in "The Duchess and the Devil", when HH insists on taking responsibility for his men's escape attempt, and is put in a hole in the ground. It is a moment of true self sacrifice.
1 rachael from wigan: My favorite moment is in Loyalty when Hornbowler is promoted to commander of the Hotspur.
