Hornblower Classic TV Show
Epic award-winning films based on C.S. Forester’s classic adventure stories. The multi-million pound drama project is one of the most ambitious productions in the history of British TV. Set during the 18th century Napoleonic Wars, Horatio Hornblower (IOAN GRUFFUDD), a young and shy midshipman, rises through the ranks to become an admiral, braving bloody engagements at sea and close quarter encounters with passionate ladies every bit as tenacious as his treacherous foes.

I think that both Ioan Grufford and Jamie Bamber are very good as the the leads and both play their parts very well. If anyone disagrees, I suggest they watch it again. 3 Angie Anderson from Crickhowell, UK: Excellent drama. I watched it repeatedly and await new episodes. 2 Noa from Israel: My favorite moment is in "The Duchess and the Devil", when HH insists on taking responsibility for his men's escape attempt, and is put in a hole in the ground. It is a moment of true self sacrifice. 1 rachael from wigan: My favorite moment is in Loyalty when Hornbowler is promoted to commander of the Hotspur. |
