94 Harold silver from Australia.ex London 1958: Hi from down under! Great memories, especially Greengrass, whom I knew from his music hall days; he never lost his comedian's style on heartbeat. Saw him many times at Hackney & Finsbury Park Empire/s..long live heartbeat. Visited Goathland in 1988...Harold
93 Jordan from canada: Question please?: Who played daughter of Jim Stockwell on episode 44 Lost and Found? She had no lines, just appeared near end of show as his daughter (gran daughter of Thora Hurd.)Anyone know this young lady? Important!
92 Gail from Toronto, Canada: I actually have a question. What was the song they played when Dr. Kate Rowan passed away? I remember how sad it was and that the song was perfect for it but it was so long ago that I forget what it was! I thought that they handled her death with great sensitivity. It was the saddest moment in the series. I've seen every season, it's the best show! Sorry to see it end.
91 alan from cheshire: the show lost something when nick rowan left, i dont think mike bradley would have won the village over had he not been following nick.
90 judith patterson from new zealand: i liked nick and kate, gina and phil, great couples. i like maggie to.it was sad when kate died. and phil, they would have to be my favourite couple. im moving there.
89 Jeanette from Canada: I would just like to say i have watched heartbeat as long as i can remember. I was unaware that the show was actually cancelled off of tv completlety and just found out :(. I would just like to say that i l-o-v-e david he is my favourite. I would also like to say when my sister went to england she went to the set of heartbeat and met the cast the are truely nice people (especially the women who plays gina) and i think that the network is stupid for cancelling it.
88 jean malcolm from scotland: i would like to say miss heartbeat on the tv weekly but enjoying the reruns fave Mick Bradley
87 Mary Rose from Castlemaine, Australia: Love the show Heatbeat. Look forward to it every Saturday and Monday. The music is great.
86 sarah riddle from england: i love heartbeat and love mike bradley it was horriable the way they killed of trisha summerbey i really liked them as a couple and was crying when she died in his arms
85 Eric Richards from Auckland NZ: GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY heartbeat is out on DVD, (they had it on VHS tape but it was NO value for money) at least Season one is. Go on be a devil buy it so we can move on to season 2, Even the Heartbeat music CD's are worth getting.
84 edel from Ireland: Omg LOVE heartbeat started watching around the later seasons, when mike and Sgt Merton were in it! I loved the dynamics of that team, they were sooo good! Mike was the best and hottest copper! Steve was the only one who came close to replacing him! Mike was the best! Jason Durr is great as him, I wanted to be Tricia so bad!! I loved tricia too, i loved her hair! Sergeant merton was class "im sergeant merton!" in his accent and him and jenny were a great couple such a good idea! i remember watching Sweet Sixteen all that series onwards, when tom died it was so sad! When Tricia died it was even worse! :( I loved the one where mike and phil went out with tricia and jenny.. characters are class ..I love bernie scripps! and vernon! and david, ventress, blaketon, gina etc. I do think its become way too fomulatic (if thats the right word?) and they do need characters to stay longer..hard to keep up otherwise! storylines involving the crimes and local characters are good too and heartbeat needs to be released on DVD! i would buy 'em all!
83 afzal from manchester, england: I 'mist' heartbeat, growing up in the 80s, and now am discuvring fr the first time the superlativ caractrisations, very moving storylines especially from niamh and nick, juliette was purfict..I cried when they got marrid. Now trying to get my hands on 'Changing Places' episode.
82 C.R. [Ron] McGuire from Nepean, Canada: I think Heartbeat is the best programme on TV---now and in the past. I hope all episopes will eventually be available on DVD. If I was told icould only watch one programme on TV for the rest of my like---it would be HEARTBEAT!
81 Ronnie from Pportobello: Gonna miss Tricia, good singer and gorgeous
80 Jennifer Kyritsis from Kyneton, Australia: Heartbeat- I have absolutely adored the show and all its cast from the very beginning. I have grown up watching it and have enjoyed every episode. I was so happy when Phil and Gina finally married. It was beautiful!!! The arrival of PC Joe Mason was also wonderful. He is fantastic! My hero!!! Heartbeat forvever!!! xox
79 Chloe from West Midlands: I love heartbeat my dad and i have got almost every episode apart from 2 series! I love it.
78 Steve from Birmingham: i like the nostalgia and steam sequences on the railway. Dr Kate Rowan was the GP i would love to have-talk about anything and totally gorgeous-sad when she left. not many left from the original cast sadly and the newer story lines arent as good but still enjoyable.
77 Richard from Toronto, Ontario, Canada: We are nearing the end of season 18 only 6 more episodes to go and I morning the loss of a great British institution- please tell me it will saved- it my Coronation street- been a fan since 1993 when it first aired here in Canada..
76 O.W.R from Vancouver, B.C.: Message to Carol (Nurse Cassidy) Joe is a good lad and I thought that you were both suited but don't despair. You are indeed a lovely lass. Yes! Heartbeat is a fantastic TV Program. Good Old British Drama...love it! Why else would I miss going out on a Saturday evening? looking forward to more... Thank you
75 frank from merseyside: best episode has to be "Thief in the night. very moving sad but fantastic acting by all involved.
74 Emma from Herefordshire: I like "Heartbeat" very much. It is one of my favourite dramas on ITV. I like the countryside in it and the way that it is set in the 1960's. I don't know if anybody can help but there is an episode of "Heartbeat" that I would love to see from series 13 called "No Hard Feelings" and it was the 17th episode.
73 Chris Lau from Earth: I had never heard of Heartbeat unitl I seen the repeats on UK Gold and wow, everytime Nick Berry tickles the ivory on the piano, it tickles the strings of my heart.
72 Miriam Maaranen from Toronto: I just loved David on the show and the dog he has is a good addition on the program because it brings a bit of comedy to the program. I loved the part when David lost his old dog and the new pup was added to take it's place. I would have loved if more showings of the dog and David were on the program to make it more interesting. Anyway, I just loved all the actors and the characters they played. That's all I have to say about the program. I sure will miss it.
Regards, Miriam
71 Charlotte from Gatineau Que Canada: Just a few words to say how delightful and romantic was the wedding between Gina and Phil.
70 allan from aberdeen: The one thing that amuses me about the programme is the fact that it has been going for 14 years or so. There is a Christmas special on every year, so thats 14 Christmas days celebrated in Aidensfield. So could someone please explain why it is still set in the sixties, surely they must have reached the seventies by now.
69 Charlotte from Gatineau, Quebec, Canada: I also have watched Heartbeat from the beginning. I look forward to Friday evenings at 9:00 on TVO and again at midnight. I hope it continues for a long while yet. Keep up the good work. The stories are great and intriguing. The actors play their roles very well. I'm always sad whenever a character leaves but then again I become intrigue whenever the new cast member enters the frey.
68 Sarah from England: Heartbeat realy is the best programme on the tv. With really gorgeous coppers, Mark, Jason, Jonathan and Nick. But for me Mark Jordon is Just amazing. The acting on the show is top class, the cast is brilliant and the plot lines are super. You cant beat heartbeat on a Sunday night. My favourite character is Mark Jordon coz hes so gorgeous, I'll be so gutted when he leaves. The Best episode ever is hard to choose, Theif in the night, where Kate dies was the most upsetting and Brilliantly moving at the same time so thats definatly up there at the top. I've been to goathland and it realy is as stunning as it looks on the TV, Long live Heartbeat.
67 Valeriano from Florida: I have been a fun of the TV series for a long time. I moved to USA and now cannot follow it anymore. Can anybody suggest how I could buy DVD of the series?
66 Clare from Lincolnshire: I have been a fan of Heartbeat since the first episode I have now visited Goathland for the past twelve years and each time I have been very lucky to see filming and even met some of the cast they are so lovely Jason Durr was so nice he sent me a goody bag of Heartbeat items!! Last year I met Jonathan Kerrigan and spent the afternoon with the cast and crew in Whitby. Everything about Heartbeat is great. Keep on going!
65 chloe from england: I love heartbeat and my favourite points are with phil and gina its great that there married now but is it all about to disappear with phil dead?I cant wait till that episode!
64 Hazza from Saltburn, Yorkshire, UK: Heartbeat is the greatest show on TV!!!!!!!!! My fav series is series 8!!!! I have a heartbeat website www.freewebs.com/heartbeatfans/
63 kath from gateshead: i am a huge fan of heartbeat, and i have visited Goathland quite a few times. i have stood next to Mike Bradley (Jason Durr) while having our photo taken, it is my pride and joy. I cried when he left the series. I have bought so many things with heartbeat on, i just love the whole series, keep filming it for another few years please.
62 jacko from derby: why was gary barlow only in in one show ? i thought he was very good . come back !
61 Maggie from Ontario Canada: Heartbeat is my all time favourite show. Every character is so perfectly suited to their role. I have never been disappointed with any episode. No harsh violence or vulgarity is so refreshing. Having lived through the 60's as a teenager it kind of brings you back to a simpler way of life. The music, well it is just fab!! Thanks to all who put this wonderful show together for loyal fans such as I to enjoy so very much. As long as Heartbeat will go on I will always be a loyal fan.
60 D.Svensson from Australia: I would love the producers of the program to know know how much I have enjoyed the series and am still doing so. I was sorry when Sgt Merton and his wife left and I hope that the producers may consider bring them back into the program. It would be nice to see her recover, have a family.
59 teresa shaw from rotherham south yorkshire: i have watched heartbeat since the first programme came on our tv i was in labour with my third child at the time[10 april 1992] and i have love everything about it since but when gina and phil lost daniel i was very upset it is nice phil as a wife now hope they are very happy together.i have not missed any of the programme and is watching the repeats to try and remember what happened to phil grandma.
58 Emily from Vancouver, Canada: What a wonderful entertaining drama, characters, music, plot-lines etc. I look forward to each episode.
I was most moved by the Baby storyline-Gina/Bellamy!
But, why did Sgt.Merton have to leave? There was a lot of Life left in that character!!
Besides, I enjoyed his screen presence!!!!!!
57 Michael Garfield from Birmingham: I've watched Heartbeat since the first episode. The earlier series were a lot grittier than the latest ones, but still kept the nostalgic feel that is the main part of the programme's appeal. It is in danger of becoming too formulistic. The plot rarely varies from week to week nowadays. And why, even though we have a christmas special every year, do the all vehicles display a december 1969 tax disc year after year? I'm a fan of the show but I do feel that something different needs to be introduced. And please, get rid of Aunt Peggy!
56 Melissa from Australia: My favourite episode was "Daniel", I cried for Phil and Gina, they are soooooooo good together. I think its the best show on tv, I would love to visit Aidensfield. I hope Heartbeat is still going on for many years to come.
55 Juliet from Newcastle: I enjoyed Heartbeat again and thought the scene where sweet David - distraught at the tragic passing of Alfred - his beloved pet - was sitting outside the pub and just staring into space before finally crying in his Auntie Peggy's arms was very moving - but I liked the mention he gave to Greengrass's character (We love and remember you, Bill!) was very fitting to Bill's popularity. Gina should go out with David - he's the sweetest lad in the show - and she could take him under her wing and show him the love he deserves.
54 Antti from Kiiminki, Finland: Day can't be started without one episode of Heartbeat.
53 Satu from Finland: I love the program and all episodes! I like every characters in Heartbeat very much, especially JASON DURR! He is hot!!!
52 Debz from east sussex: I absolutly love heartbeat because it is different to other tv dramas like it is set in the 60s. I only started watching it a couple of months ago when they played the old episodes. My favourite bit was when Jackie and Mike got married but was really sad when she left him.
51 paige jordan gittoes from wales: i like the part of when mike bradley save his wife and i would loved to meet him
50 Allen Forster from Pool in Cornwall: I love Heartbeat and all its characters but in particular I miss Claude Greengrass but love Vernon and David and all the scams that go wrong. My favourite character though is PC Ventress who was surely the oldest police constable ever since George Warner of Dixon of Dock Green. Ventress is superb and always eating. Who remembers him as PC Will Croft in Emerdale (Farm) as it was known then when he was a rather over keen policeman knicking the Sugdens for traffic offences. He also appeared in a series called Crown Court and came out with a great line as a barrister or solicitor which went something like "you are indeed a clever gentleman recognising my client from such and such distance with when he was wearing a crash helmet with visor." Great stuff. May Heartbeat always be on our screens and Camerons Ale from Hartlepool - what more can I say. And doesent Bellamy look like Luton Town footballer Steve Howard?
49 Zoe Luscombe from Plymouth: Heartbeat is brilliant, i like the relationship between all the characters, especially mike and his wife they get throw everything together.
48 Jan Ratcliffe from Lindsay,Ontario,Canada: My Husband (who is originally from Yorkshire) and I have watched Heartbeat from the start and enjoy it immensely. Last night we watched a re-run. It was just FANTASTIC. The episode consisted of the death of Phil and Gina's baby, and once again I was in tears, what great actors they all are, we love them all. We truly hope that there will always be Heartbeat. My husband and I are visiting England in the fall and hope to visit Goathland. Keep up the good work, Please.
47 Anonoymous from England: I loved the episode where Gina and Phil's baby boy died - I thought that was beautifully portrayed and terribly moving - I was glad when Gina and Phil went out - she's a sweet girl and he's a kindly, caring soul (as well as being incredibly sexy to boot). But now, I think Gina and David should fall in love - because she deserves a nice lad and she could take sweet, sincere David under her wing and look after him - because he deserves a bit of love. I liked the episode when he thought he was going to find love with Gloria Evans (played by Corrie's Penny King - although I don't know her real name.) That episode also featured The Bill's Mary Jo Randle and Bad Girls' bad boy Jack Ellis and was before Vernon made his debut - as loveable rogue Claude Greengrass (we love and miss you, Bill - you're great and there's only one Bill Maynard) was still in the show then.
46 Anonoymous from England: I loved the scene in a previous show when Vernon - who had supposedly died - was buried and to see poor sweet David so desolate really was heartbreaking - I yearned to hold him and comfort him - because the sweet pet was so desolate. However, I loved Gwen Taylor's debut as David's auntie - although I would still have liked Claude to tell David he was like a son- I loved that moving scene between David and Vernon. Another moving two scenes were in the pub when David got upset as he mentioned his dead mum and how he missed her and when he told Rosie that now his mum and Vernon had both died, he only had his auntie. Please give sweet David some happiness and let him fall for kindly, friendly and caring Gina - who needs the love of a good, caring man (no disrespect to the very sexy Phil) Mark Jordon, I fancy you! Gina's a good girl and needs a good caring man to take care of her. She's an angel with a heart of gold - so please matchmake her with David.
45 dot holloway from Australia: I love the whole show but always got a laugh out of Claude Greengrass he was a loveable rogue. The best show on t.v.
44 Anonoymous from England: Last night's show was lovely and the scene when we thought Vernon had died was a really moving one - it broke my heart to see David - the sweet lad - so upset. Gina, David, Vernon and Bernie are my favourite characters and to see David so desolate really broke my heart. I loved the scene when Vernon told David he was like a son to him - I always hoped Claude might say that to him one day. My heart was breaking for David as he sat in that lorry with Bernie outside the morgue, sobbing his heart out.
43 Cat from Lincolnshire: Heartbeat is the best thing on tv! It has everything you could ever want:
Fit coppers (yeah you mark Jordon!)
Great storylines It can make you cry, laugh, or be angry. Good guest stars (like Alan Price) Amazing Xmas episodes.
...What more do you need!
I'm 12 and have been hooked since the forst time i watched it (i was around 7)
I've only missed about 1 episode sice then, and have all from the last 2 years recorded (doesnt sound like much compared to some of you , but it's hard when your young and your friends take the mic!)
My dad took me to goathland recently and it was amazing, the best few days of my life, eve ntho we left he day b4 they started filming (i was gutted), the people at the hotle were lovely, and we're going to try and go again to catch them all filming.
the greatest episode ever has to be Daniel, it was so touching, and the acting from everyone, especially Tricia and Mark was amazing!
...Well ok bye everyone....Keep loving heatbeat (and did i mention how Fit mark jordon is???!!!)
42 vicky hibbins from nuneaton: I love heartbeat i have every episode taped the best heartbeats were the early ones with nick and kate i miss nick he was fab i met him filming in goathland once my fav seires is 4 a winters tale was a great one it was real magical keep showing heartbeat p.s i love nick
41 Neil Robinson from Scunthorpe: My best epidode of the series was where Nick and and joe got married
40 catriona from ireland: Heartbeat is my favourite program at the moment. I love sgt merton and jenny, I was glad when they got married. I'm sad now to hear that they and other are leaving next year. but i'm sure heeartbeat will be just as good.
39 Jackie Owen from Bournemouth: I was so enjoying the earliest series as I couldnt see it the first time round because of work committments and now it seems to have been taken off and I am left with the early morning shows which are great but of a much later series - it is such a good series and i love the music too.
38 Kirstie from Isle of Wight: I have been a fan of the show since it started in 1992! I have visited the village where they film many times and have been lucky enough to meet most of the actors - my best moment was meeting Jason Durr (PC Mike Bradley)- twice!
37 Hannah .B from Isle of Wight: I really love Bellamy I think Mark Jordan is very good looking and a fantastic actor. His latest story line with Gina and the baby was so sad and he played it so well. Its a shame Bellamy hasn't had much good fortune lately!
36 AMY BOUD from AUSTRLIA: I love Heartbeat very much. My favourite bit of the show is when Mike and Jackie got married.
35 Jan hooper from Kent: I love Heartbeat, my favourite character is Sgt Dennis Merton,he is brilliant! Was so glad Jenny married him, but sad that she is now unhappy with him! I wouldnt be. hope it improves but I hear they are both leaving soon!!
34 Richard from Tyne & Wear: I have been an avid fan of Heartbeat since it started in 1992 and have every single episode on videotape. My favourite character has got to be Dr Kate Rowan, played by Niamh Cusack and her 3 leaving episodes have got to be the very best 3 episodes Yorkshire TV have ever made. I only wish that she could come back as a ghost! I also miss old rogue Claude Greengrass, played by Bill Maynard - he was great! Heartbeat remains top of the UK ratings and its about time it won some awards! It's simply the best!
33 Norma Marsh from Oakville, Ontario Canada: We love Heartbeat here in Ontario. Don't know which # series we are up to but in the last series Mike had become a detective and moved on, the sergeant has proposed to Jenny, she accepted. Is there another series after this that we can look forward to seeing? Does anyone know?
Norma Marsh
32 Bjorn Kilen from Norway: I like the music in Heartbeat, but I can't find references to tracks that have been played. Does anyone have any details about this?
Yours sincerely Bjorn Kilen
31 William from Ireland: I am a fan of the Heartbeat series, and wonder if anyone would know the name of the village where the series is filmed, as I will be going on holiday to Yorkshire in May and would love to visit it! Thank you.
30 Alice Jones from West Yorkshire: I am Alice Jones.I played Katie Rowan for over a year and loved every second of it! The cast and crew were wonderful. They were so funny and kind. Me and my mum Jo were lucky enough to go to Canada to film CHANGING PLACES (the unseen episode)where we went skiing with Nick, Juliette, Dick(nick's dad), neil(the photographer)and his girlfriend Janet. We stayed in a Chateau by Lake Louise and saw bear footprints one day when we were walking. I still watch the program now. There are lots of little reminders of being in heartbeat dotted all over my house. Nick Berry and Juliette Gruber were two of the nicest people i've ever met.
29 Steve from Scotland: Hi Katie, you will find some screen captures of PC Crane at my website:
http://www.freewebs.com/steve_c/
28 Linda from Sheffield: My favourite memory of Heartbeat was when I visited the place where it is filmed. This was just before series 2. My brother was Stuart Golland (who played George Ward, the Aidensfield Arms Landlord). Stuart showed me round and introduced me to Nick Berry, Niamh Cusack, Bill Maynard and many more. It was a lovely day and I have some lovely photos which are even more cherised because Stuart has now died. He died in Leeds General Infirmary at the age of 58, which is no age really. Best wishes and love to the cast and all Heartbeat fans.
27 Paolo from Canada: I have got a lot of favorite episodes but the one that comes to mind is where the Gypsy comes back to Adinsfield before he dies. The best part is where Greengrass and the dying man re-aquaint themselves after the years past.
Favorite charater is and always was Greengrass...
26 Leo Munro from Iceland: I would like to know if Nick Berry and Rachel Robertson spent their honeymoon in Yorkshire and where exactly?
With many thanks and kindest regards
LM
25 india (age 7 ) from n.yorkshire: My favourite part is when Heartbeat comes back on t.v. after a period of time. I am the biggest fan of Heartbeat especially of the policemen. I think there are some really good stories in the last series.
24 D M D from Toronto: There are two episodes that really stick out because they were such tear jerkers, The first was when Kate dies, and the secand when the young police officer was shot. The latter having such a brilliantly spoken ulergy by the Sargent at the funeral. The night I saw it my brother was on midnights in his rural division ,that particular episode was so real that when I got home from watching it I had to e mail him at the division to let him know I loved him
23 Louise-Michaela from Denmark: I LOVE MARK JORDON/PC PHIL BELLAMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
22 Chloe from UK: I dont no wot episode it is but its the where gin a n maggie find out that this little boy hose not bben going 2 scool n stuff finds his mum in a cupborad dead! n they find out in the attick that some papers tell that it was his sister r his mum i cant reall remember but thats ma fav episode
21 liam arnold from manchester: I HAVE ENJOYED WATCHING HEATBEAT SINCE IT STARTED IN 1992 I LOVE THE 60'S EVEN THOUGH I GREW UP IN THE 80'S AT THE MOMENT I AM RIGHTING A STORY FOR THE NEXT SERIES AND IF ANYONE CAN HELP I WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF YOU COULD EMAIL ME AT LIAMARNOLD@MSN.COM
20 Katherine from Norfolk: My favourite moment was when Dennis proposed to Jenny and two episodes later she accepted. I was in tears because I was soooo happy!!!
19 Paola Pesavento from Vicenza, Italy: I have been living in GB for ten years. I have been at times very lonely, but I had a gang of good old friends in Heartbeat: I have to say:"Thank you very much for so many cheerful and heartwarming hours! I wish Heartbeat will never end".
18 Laura Bradd from Yorkshire: I was in Heartbeat! I played Harriet Beresford in the episode called Dirty Len! I loved filming with Molly Shevlin (Amanda Beresford) and Clare Clifford (Celia Beresford). I also worked with Tricia Penrose, Duncan Bell, Jason Durr, Derek Fowlds, Clare Calbraith, Sarah Tansey and many more. I would love to be there again!
Laura
17 Brian James from St Albans, hertfordshire: Heartbeat is a great piece of 60's nostalgia. It is a shame that Bellamy, who has been in it since the beginning hasn't had a steady girlfriend yet, also that perhaps he should be given a bigger part say taking over the police house. the same goes for Ventress.
16 Paul May from Southend: I like every Heartbeat Series. I think that it is the best drama on tv.
One of my favourite moments is on 'Bringing it all Back Home' when Nick takes Kates toast to work with him because he is late.
15 Pia Petersen from Denmark: My favourite moment was when Nick married Joe, and when Mike for the first time came to Aidensfield.
14 Paula from Sweden: This is the best series i've ever seen!!!! I love Jason Durr!!!! He's sooooooo cute!!!!! The rest of the series is good as well, but it's better with PC Bradley!!!! Lot of love to ye!!!
13 x-x~Carmenx-x~ from Edinbourgh: I think when Tricia died and mike told her he loved her it made me cry nearly.
12 Bartley Molloy from Galway, Ireland: i really loved the old heartbeats , i thought greengrass was hilarious and i thought blaketon was class. i wish that kate had not died when she did and i also loved when ventres used to eat his eggs.
11 Kirstie Ferris from Isle of Wight: I have watched Heartbeat since it started back in 1993. I think I prefer the earlier series with Nick and Kate but I do love Jason Durr. I have visited the village where they film many times and have been lucky enough to meet most of the stars.
10 Nicholas Cox from Redhill Surrey: I like Jason Durr the best, he is more of an Individual, than Nick Berry was. The Police work also as more of a Team. What a pity that Jackie, Mike's wife had to be written, out so sadly. At least she did not 'Die.'
The Year of 'Every lose Wins,' becoming a Hit, must be an error. It is given as 1986. Heartbeat did not begin until 1992. Please keep Cheering UsUp, with Heartbeat.
9 Tina from Sweden: I love the Heartbeat series especially the earlier episodes with the original cast cause they rock!! I do feel the later episodes really loose alot. I have no clue why they either replace or take away charachters when they fit so well to the part(yeah i do know some actors don't want to anymore and some just cant for various reasons)but still those who just don't want should be offered more money so they continue :) But heartbeat rocks! not as much with the later episodes but anyways!
8 mary gair from red deer, alta, canada: I like everything about Heartbeat. I know we are far behind england in the series but that doesn't matter as we haven't seen them before. The actors and actresses in the series are very good. I am sorry to hear about the actor that takes the part of Greengrass, we still enjoy watching him.
7 Yvonne Power from Norwich: I love any episode with Nick Berry in it but my favourite ever has to be 'End Of The Line' when he gets put in the stocks and gets a wet sponge in his face!!! It would have been even better if it had been squeezed out over his head!
6 Margaret Emery from Poole,Dorset: I love everything about heartbeat, especially Nick Berry. He is the best actor on the telly. Also the best looking. I would love to meet him, but I think I have more chance of winning the lottery!!!
5 Melanie Wilson from South Shields: My favourite moment from Heartbeat is when Mike Bradley first rode into Aidensfield on his moterbike, I think he is a fab copper and very sexy too.........
4 carl wetton from chesterfield: As a frequent visitor to North Yorkshire I paid a visit to Goathland aka Aidensfield, and was amazed at the place, and its outer areas ie, Whitby, I've fallen in love with the place, so seeing Heartbeat again and spotting the places where I visited is brill, I actually visited the museum, which is now situated in Whitby and it was brilliant, the clothes, the truck, Nicks motorbike, everything is in there, please keep showing heartbeat as I'm a true fan.
3 Elaine Gasparini from Tottenham, Ont. Canada: My whole family (extended) has watched Heartbeat since it began - it's fabulous! It is a much anticipated part of our week and we're never disappointed. We all discuss on various phone calls after each episode. The music, the actors, the story lines - EVERYTHING - is just wonderful. There are not many programs anymore that you can watch with your children each week and not be wondering if "something" is going to come up that you don't want them to see, and I don't have that worry EVER with Heartbeat. My kids are 9 and 5 - they've both been "raised" on Heartbeat!
Keep up the excellent work - hope it never ends!
(We even watch the re-runs!)
2 Linda from Newcastle upon tyne: I love Heartbeat - love the music, the scenery, just everything about it. "Goathland" (AKA Aidensfield) is a beautiful village. We were there the day they filmed Nick and Jo's Wedding - got some brilliant photos! Long may it continue!
1 Ingrid from Australia: What can I say but when I saw David Essex in Heartbeat you made my day, my week, my everything...we dont see him much in Australia and it was so wonderful to see this fine actor and singer yet again..There should be more of him....Thank you so much...I have loved him since 1974.....wow, thank you.
