19 Duncan currie from Northampton: Jack Lord's real name is John Joseph Patrick Ryan.
18 Hazel Beese from Kingswinford England: I just loved Hawaii Five 0, especially Jack Lord he was my ideal of a man--and so handsome. I never tire of watching re-runs.
17 romo from indonesia: Jack Lord and 5-0 crew is the best.
Hawaii 5-0 is my favorite tv show. I have to watch it using my satellite dish beaming from the Phillipines.
I think Kam Fong was the most interesting supporting actor.
I was able to meet Kam Fong a few times while I was visiting Honolulu. I have a good friend who was a student with Dennis Chun.
I hope there will be a future Bali 5-0 cop show.
16 Cindy Benninghoff from St. Thomas Ontario Canada: Since I was 14 years old I have been captivated by the show. Jack's good looks, his views on achieving self goals that were highly set and of course the beautiful scenery of Hawaii have made me a fan for the last 32 years. In 1973 I was fortunate enough to not only go to Hawaii for a two week vacation but while we were there we took a trip out to Diamond Head and literally stumbled upon the cast and crew who were filming the episode "The 100,000 Dollar Nickel. I met Jack and had several pictures with him, he was so wonderful to anyone there wanting to meet and talk with him. I hung around for quite a while and after about a half an hour or so he looked my way and said "Wow, are you still here?" He was concerned for my safety as we were standing on the other side of the highway to where they were filming. I will always remember him saying to us,"Come on across for a closer look but please be careful honey." My husband and I are planning to go to Hawaii in May 2004 for our 25th wedding anniversary but it just won't be the same without knowing that Jack's awesome presence is no longer there. May he rest in peace and thankyou sir for all that you gave us!!
15 Dave from My bedroom in England: Not since BBC showed full series 1968-80 back 1991 have I even seen this show mentioned. Just had the opportunity to tape one episode this week while house-sitting. I will save it for a special ocassion like my honeymoon. I am sure my new wife will appreciate the absolute quality of the show as I introduce her to my first love....
14 Tara Thompson from Canada: i'm a big fan of Hawaii Five-0, and my favorite epsiod of the show was when Steve and Dano are to Rich Little who does voices in this epsiod and he plays a bad guy and he tries to kill someone because he can't come to terms that his girlfriend is dead, The funny part is when Steve finally figures out that it's Rich Little doing the killings and i think his most famous line is when tells Dano "We're going to see Cadney" in Cadney's voice, which i think Jack Lord did a good impression. And i think Jack Lord is a sexy cop if i do say so myself.
13 Donna from Pennsylvania: This show has been my all time favorite for many, many years, and still is. I watch my tapes because our area isn't showing this program.
Steve McGarrett, [ Jack Lord ], led his Five-O team week after week, and always got his man. This show was a very clean, refreshing, cop show. Unlike what we have on T.V. today.
12 Steffanie Marinesse from Germany: I am a Hawaii5-0 Fan since I was 12- 13.(Now I am 22) Jack Lord was a wonderful cop. My parents never have let me watch it because it was so late in the evening. After the Opening Theme I had to go to bed. They have recorded it for me so that I could watch it the next day. I would give so much for it if the Show would run in Germany again. A Day without Hawaii 5-0 and without Jack Lord is like a day without Sunshine.
Steve has helped in in hard times. Ever if I wanted to give up I told me. "Steve wouldn't give up now. He would work so long on his case until he is finished!"That's maybe because today I am very succesful and I never think to give up something.

11 Danny Spencer from Harlow: i was really into the surf scene in the 70s and i actually saw some filming in 1972 while on holiday. it was the dogs love blobs nice.
10 Sandra Barrow from Chorley Lancashire: I remember watching Hawaii five-0 from been aged about 16. I did not have a lot to look forward at this time in my life, and then came Hawaii five-0. I used to wait for the program to come on each week there was something about Steve that made feel happy he was my hero and a very fair cop.
9 Susan Weaver from UK: I have been a Five O fan for years and years. I'm besotted with Steve McGarret, even though at times some of the things he says makes me cringe a little - don't care though because he's lovely.
8 SARAH BIRD from LONDON: Please keep the series running
its my favourite show of all time. Long may it run.
7 Rachael Carradice from West Yorks: I remember watching Hawaii Five-0 with my dad when I was little and I have been dreaming about that famous quiff and dazzling smile eversince. Having watched every re-run for the last 30 years I feel I know the characters off by heart. My mobile rings to the worlds most favourite theme and my locker is covered with photos of Steve Mcgarret ( my Hero). I envy anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Jack Lord.
6 Derek Smith from Uk: Just Keep this classic show running...
Yes I have been watching for years.
5 Rebecca from Wolverhampton: My fave episode is "The Ninth Step" from 1977, because my fave actor Gil Gerard (who went on to star as Buck Rogers)was the guest star. :)
4 Penny Humm from Cambridge: I loved everything about the show- the hunky Jack Lord, the strong, moral stories, the special episodes where Wo Fat was involved or the main characters became intimately involved in the story, the interplay between the main characters, especially in the early series with Kono, and the "big brother- little brother" relationship between steve mcgarett and Danny Williams. then of course there was the location - it is still my secret and biggest wish, probably never to be realised, but everyone needs a dream, right, to visit Hawaii one day.
3 Andrew Holland from Purley, Surrey: It was simply the best show of its type. The theme tune & episode soundtracks suited the show perfectly, the opening titles were visually stunning, the plots invariably of the highest order (particularly of those episodes involving wo fat & also those of the vashon family) & acting of the highest calibre, particularly by the principal leads. My favourite series of all time!
2 Clare Stephenson from Kent: I just love the single noise Steve McGarret makes in each episode when he is cracking the case. It can be a fist on the table, clicked fingers or even the wafting of notes - but he always makes a particular noise.
1 Eric Jones from Holyhead Anglesey: It takes me back to my childhood when it was a cool programme to watch - Book him Danno-Murder 1 was probably the most used catchphrase in school, and of course the theme music was, and still is, a classic; probably one of the most recognisible themes in the history of television.
