4 Paul Loftus from Keighley: A perfect adaptation of the Sherlock Holmes stories, I watch them time & time again!
No-one had the Holmes flourish off to a T like Jeremy Brett.
Incidentally, am reading Peter Bowles autobiography at the moment & was interested to note that Jeremy Brett played opposite Charles Gray who played his brother Mycroft way back in the fifties in an adaptation of Troilus & Cressida!

3 eileen cotter from fulham, london UK: i loved all the sherlock homes series which starred 'jeremy brett'. he is unbeatable as sherlock holmes. a great actor who was a shining tribute to the industry and cannot be replaced as the sleuth. i love watching the repeats on sky. my own kids love him too!
