7 Andrea Bradbury from Dunfermline, Fife Scotland: Loved the show from the very beginning, remember being about 12 when they changed Meg for Sharon and sitting in our living room saying I didnt like the new actress. Little did I know I would grow to love not only her but also Tyne. Fantastic show and fantastic actresses and more than that fantastic writing and insight to produce a show of this magnitude even 25 years on.
6 Sharon Jones from Phoenix Az.: I dont think there is one I did'nt like. But some of the great ones to me are. Chris lost her dad & the drinking problem, Marybeth with the Breast cancer, the Bag Lady, Chris & Marybeth both getting Shot. Also the lady that through she was a Witch. I just cant wait till the hold set comes out, so I can watch then all over again. THANK YOU so much for the C / L shows.
5 Rhonda McClements from Northern Ireland: Like everyone else I was a huge fan of Cagney and Lacey. My favourite episode was when Christine had a drink problem. I miss seeing the show on tv. I think it was one of the best American drama's ever seen on tv.
4 Deb Walker from Heybridge, Essex: Cagney & Lacey has to be my all time favourite tv series. The writing, and even more so, the acting was OUTSTANDING! The on screen chemistry between Sharon and Tyne was terrific. The episodes that stick in my mind were the ones where Chris became an alcoholic after her father died and when Mary Beth was diagnosed with breast cancer. Everytime i watch these particular episodes i'm in tears, these ladies certainly know how to act! All the time C & L was on the air, from 1982 to 1988 the Emmy Award for Best Actress went to either Tyne (4 times) or Sharon (2 times), says it all really! This series had a great mix of drama and humour and was at times, very emotional too, and i miss it big time!!
3 paula lloyd-james from south wales uk: sharon gless is the best even today i love her dearly, miss the show like mad please bring them all back from the start
2 charles edward gregory from worksop notts: i liked cagney and lacey when cagney always knocking down victor isbecki
1 Cindi Strange from Wesley chapel, Fla.: I, like everyone else am an at large fan of the two women who play Cagney and Lacey, Sharon Gless especially, she was an inspiration to an abundance of gays and straights of who she portrayed and what she has accomplished then and now. I watched the show from the first time it aired and I was not all that impressed with the show when Meg Foster played Cagney, I thought the show really took off as soon as Sharon took over the roll, I still have the pleasure to watch it in syndication where I live. All the episodes were FANTASTIC memories for me.
