5 Supriya from India: I used to watch this show when I was prety young and I never really got the jokes, but I loved the chase scenes..They were simply hilarious!

Now I started watching the show again and I got all the jokes and loved it! I wish Benny was still alive and continued making the show!
4 David Stanley from Farmington, New Mexico, USA: I watch Benny Hill episodes in the early 80s on PBS - Public Broadcasting Stations(although most of those episodes that I watched were filmed/taped in the mid to late 70s).

In retrospect, I'm surprised that PBS even showed Benny Hill at all - they were racy, naughty, and very un-PC by today's standards - and funny as hell!

Benny Hill was definitely a guy thing - just like the Three Stooges, it was almost universally loved by guys and universally hated by women (at least in the USA).

My favorite episode/skit has him doing a strip show while dressed as a clown. Through special effects, he strips down to bare skin and then pulls his skin off to where he's a skeleton dancing on stage. I don't believe I have ever belly laughed out loud when alone (I tend to laugh at comedies more when with others) so long and loud as when seeing that skit. What a gem!

1 Allen Forster from Pool in Cornwall: I loved Benny Hill who is now sadly too PC in the Uk to appear on the tv anymore (repeats I mean). Who could not fail to laugh at the little bald man being slapped about the head by Benny and to those who say he exploited women then how come they always got the better of him?
