Penny Milburn is a captain in the Women's Ryal Army Corps. Her husband Russell is a house-husband with a penchant for beer, football and keeping out of confrontation. This early 1980's comedy was a battle concerned the battle over who wore the trousers.

1 Pam Bray from New Zealand: I actually read the book that the show was based on; so it was really great to see how it was developed for tv. Of course the lead actors I had seen in a number of shows tho for Peter Davidson it was possibly the first time I had seen him to a comedy role. Years on Matthew Kelly ie:Fritz popped up on our screens in Stars In Your Eyes. Took me a bit to click were I'd seen him before; and since he has also done some other shows.
