16 raj from london: wished some hawaii five-o were filimed in london
15 Michael Bedford from Phoenixville, PA: Now that I've successfully purchased the complete series I've thoroughly enjoyed episodes watched and still have many, many more to go..I like to imagine myself in the role of Steve's assistant, "Danno!"
14 Michael Bedford from Phoenixville, PA 19460: I would like to purchase a set of used five-o tapes or dvd's of the series......it can even be a portion of the series but I would need a discount price, as my social security disability isn't that high.
13 alizar from venezuela: this show is very exiting, I remember to jack lord was mac garret and missing with him and loved with danny james macarthur I wishes see again the amazing show
12 Mark Davidson from Toronto: Hawaii Five-O was the king on Thursday nights, nothing stood up to it. Seeing the reruns on TV-Land, shows how well it stands the test of time. I don't know what was tougher McGarrett or his hair!!! It still has the best song of all time. I have seen all the other shows out on DVD and this is the big hold out. I cannot wait.
11 leisa b 38 from Maine: loved that theme song Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams they were the best hardly ever missed an episode and I would love to see Jack Lords memorial when I am in Hawaii
10 Olivia Hack from Port of Spain, Trinidad: I didn't notice that Hawaii Five O lasted for twelve years. It lasted from 1968 to 1980. I have a copy of the theme song on CD. Hawaii Five O was a long-running TV series. Jack Lord died of congestive heart failure on January 21, 1998. Hawaii Five O had 284 episodes.
9 Pam Layton from Portsmouth, Hants: Hawaii Five O was fantastic,I particularly loved Jack Lord as Steve McGarrett. I have all the episodes on tape and play them very often. I went to Hawaii and it was magical actually being there but I also felt sad because I felt I was too late. I would have loved to have visited when Five O was being filmed there and I could have had the chance of seeing McGarrett. One fan on this page (Hazel Beeze) said she would like to go to Hawaii to see Jack's memorial, well I saw it and was very disappointed, I didn't think it looked like him at all.
What I would like now more than anything is to have a ride in one of the cars he drove and also visit the island again but this time with people who are all big Five O fans like myself.
God Bless you Jack, we will never forget you.xxx
8 Tara Berardi from Huntsville,Ont: I have to agree Hawaii Five-O should be out on DVD and Jack Lord is my all time
favorite because he lights up the screen when I watch him I know that he will be missed but remember him for his performance as the Good Looking cop Steve McGarrett because he knew how to nab the bad guys with the help of his sidekick Danny Williams played by James MacArthur Hawaii Five-O is the best cop
show that is watched by millions of people.
Aloha and Book Em Danno
7 Lise Gilly from chicago: I agree, Five-0 should be on DVD by now. Many other classic TV shows have their DVD collections, why not this show? I really think Five-0 was a prototype for all of the cop shows on TV now. Ain't nothing like the real thing baby!
6 Bobby from Ilford: When I was young I always thought Jack Lord came from the ocean in that bubble and returns back each night. The bubble being the Sun setting on the ocean on the opening scenes! Dim or what?
5 Joe Harrington from CT-USA: Hope that some day they release the series on DVD. This is still my favorite all time series. It is the reason I went to Hawaii. I fell in love with the beautiful scenery.
4 peter-josephhegarty from London: I remember I started out trying to HATE Hawaii Five-O (``American rubbish'' etc.). I ended up LOVING it. Every element -- the plots, the speed of the action, the slightly over-the-top characterization, the sheer style of the programme, especially Steve McG of course, and even the incidental music (were they bass trombones?) -- made it a compelling package. As for favourite moments -- any of the ``Book 'im Danno, murder one'' finales!
3 Marz Irving from U.K.: The most fantastic police thriller ever screened. The location (yes, I have been & it was NOT a dissapointment!) & the most GORGEOUS guys ever brought together one one screen!! Do you not agree - who could choose between - real cool Jack (Steve) delectable Danno & real hunky Kono!!. Girls - I rest my case - you choose!!!!!
2 Hazel Beese from West Midlands: Hawaii Five 0 is my all time favourite TV programme. I love everything about it, especially Jack Lord - no one could have played McGarret the way that he did. I will never tire of the re-runs and watch them over and over. My dream is to go to Hawaii to see his memorial when it's completed
